Overview

 

A memorable journey through Iran classic route starting from Tehran and ends in Shiraz by visiting the most historical monuments and ancient palaces in Tehran, Isfahan, Yazd and Shiraz during 8 days. This tour will take you to the ancient time of Iran; just close your eyes and imagine the Great Persia Empire.

This tour is an easy one according to the level of difficulty; so any traveler with a general physical fitness can join it.

 

Brief Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival to IKA- Tehran City Tour

 

Depending on your arrival to Tehran International Airport (IKA), our representative will meet and greet you at the airport in Tehran. Transfer to your hotel for check in and start the city tour. You will be transferred to Golestan Palace, registered in UNESCO World Heritage Site and then stroll through Grand Bazar.  Having lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch transfer to Carpet museum. Overnight at a hotel in Tehran. (L)

 

Day 2: Fly to Yazd- Yazd City Tour

 

Early morning waking up! Having breakfast at the hotel and transfer to airport for domestic flight to Yazd. A driver guide will meet and greet you at the airport.

 A stroll through the city, visiting Tower of Silence and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, Amir Chakhmaq Complex: the symbol of Yazd, Qanat: the underground water channel, Dolat Abad Garden: a typical example of a Persian garden and Jame Mosque of Yazd. Overnight stay in an eco-lodge or traditional style hotel. (B)

 

Day 3: Yazd – Free day

 

This day is a free day and at your leisure. Overnight stay in the eco-lodge or traditional style hotel. (B)

 

Day 4: Drive to Isfahan – Half day city tour

 

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel! Check out hotel and hit the road towards Isfahan. It is 323 km far from and takes about 4 hours to get there. first check in the hotel and then go to a local restaurant for a traditional cuisine (not included). After lunch visiting Atigh Jameh mosque, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Late afternoon visiting Si-o-se-pol and Khaju bridges, the notable examples of Persian architecture in Safavid éra. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B)

 

Day 5: Isfahan City tour

 

Transfer to Naghshe Jahan Square, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site with its magnificent surroundings, the Shah mosque (Imam Mosque), Ali Qapu Palace, Sheikh Lotf Allah mosque and Qeysarie Gate. Afterwards, spending some times in Isfahan grand Bazzar for purchasing some souvenirs.  After lunch visiting Chehel Sotoun Palace and Vank cathedral known as Saintly Sisters’ Church.  Overnight stay in the hotel.  (B)

 

Day 6: Drive to Saadat Shahr -Visit Pasargad

 

Early morning waking up and having breakfast. Drive to the Ancient Persia by visiting Pasargadae, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight stay in a local house in Sa’adat Shahr. (B)

 

Day 7: Shiraz City tour

 

Travel to visit Persepolis, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Naghshe Rostam, Naghshe Rajab, inscribed in tentative list for UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then hit the road to Shiraz. Afternoon, visit some important highlights of Shiraz like tomb of Sa’di, Hafez mausoleum and Eram garden. Overnight stay in a hotel. (B)

 

Day 8: Departure

 

Depending on the flight schedule, transfer to Shiraz International airport (SYZ) to take your return flight to home. (B)
