Overview
A real journey through Iran via Iran Classic route! It is an 11 days’ tour which starts from Shiraz and ends in Tehran travelling through many historical sightseeing; visiting main cities of Shiraz, Yazd, Isfahan, Kashan, Tehran and many highlights in old towns and villages such as Eqlid, Kharanagh, Chak Chak, Meybod, Kuhpayeh and Abyaneh. An unforgettable experience to visit the most UNESCO World Heritage Sites in southern and central Persia territory.
This tour has designed as a moderate level of difficulty; so any traveler with a general physical fitness can join it.
Brief Itinerary
Day 1: Depending on your arrival to Shiraz International Airport (SYZ), check in hotel. (-,-,-)
Day 2: Full day city tour of Shiraz, visiting Nasir-Ol- Molk mosque, Jame mosque, Vakil Mosque & bazar and Karimkhan citadel, tomb of Sa’di, Hafez mausoleum and Eram garden. Overnight stay at the hotel (B, L)
Day 3: A full day tour through ancient Persia by visiting Persepolis, Naghshe Rostam, Naghshe Rajab and Pasargadae. Overnight stay in a local house. (B, L, D)
Day 4: Driving towards Yazd. Visit Eqlid, a gate between the high mountains and the desert on our way. Overnight stay in a traditional style hotel. (B, L, D)
Day 5: A stroll through the city, visiting Tower of Silence and the Zoroastrian Fire Temple, Amir Chakhmaq Complex, Qanat, Dolat Abad Garden and Jame Mosque of Yazd. Overnight stay in the traditional style hotel. (B, L)
Day 6: Travelling to Kuhpa town, en route visit the ancient Village of Kharanaq, visiting the ancient city of Meybod, visiting Narin Castle; then continue our way towards Nain and visit the Jameh Mosque of Nain. Late afternoon we get to Kuhpayeh. Overnight stay in Kuhpa Caravanserai. (B, L, D)
Day 7: Drive to Isfahan. A stroll city tour in Isfahan for visiting Naghshe Jahan Square, UNESCO’s World Heritage Site and the Shah mosque (Imam Mosque), Ali Qapu Palace and Sheikh Lotf Allah mosque. spending some times in grand Bazzar. After lunch visiting Chehel Sotoun and Hasht Behesht Palaces, Si-o-se-pol and Khaju bridges in the evening. Late afternoon back to the hotel. Overnight stay in the hotel. (B, L)
Day 8: A half day city tour in Isfahan to visit Vank cathedral and then visiting Jameh mosque, the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Then hit the road towards the historical village of Abyaneh for a walking tour in the village. Overnight stay in a traditional style hotel in Abyaneh. (B, L, D)
Day 9: Spending some times in the village of Abyaneh; Check out the hotel and drive to Kashan for a city tour. Visiting historical houses ofTabatabaeis and Borujerdis. Then driving to significant ancient site of Sialk hills and going to the historical Fin Garden UNESCO World Heritage Site. Overnight at the hotel in Kashan. (B, L, D)
Day 10: Tehran walking tour; visit National museum and Golestan Palace which both are registered in UNESCO World Heritage Site and Grand Bazar. After lunch transferred to Carpet museum. Overnight at the hotel in Tehran. (B, L)
Day 11: Morning time is at your leisure. According to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to IKA airport to take your flight back home. (B)
