Overview

An adventure trip to the roof of Iran, Damavand Mount with altitude of 5609 m; ascending the conical stratovolcano from southern ridge.

In this trip we ascend from southern ridge of Damavand mount. In southern ridge hiking starts from mosque (Goosfandsara 2900 m) with a light backpack and extra stuffs will be carried by mules. There is an equipped hut in 4250 where you can have suitable area for camping, having facilities like lavatory and a small shop.
All the way we enjoy a gentle slope and good path that helps you have a better acclimatization and you won’t need any belay, rope, ice axe or crampon. With full support of professional guide, you just enjoy your ascent to the roof of Iran. For better acclimatization we have considered a whole day that helps you to have a better ascent in the summit day. Also in all the way you’ll have beautiful scenery of high Alborz Mountains.
